PreK-5th         6th-12th

"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth."     2 Timothy 2:15

Schedule:

Please check your children in at the main hall's Children's Check-In Station no earlier than 6:00 PM.

Please return to pick up your children/youth at 8:00 PM. A parent or pre-arranged guardian must pick up all clubbers with their appropriate safety tag to avoid any confusion and safety risks.

AWANA kids and youth meet at the FCC Campus every Wednesday night from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM year-round, unless otherwise noted.

Dues:

AWANA has a $35.00 annual fee per child, which includes the uniform, workbooks, snacks, and awards. Additionally, AWANA supports missions that will encourage each child to donate $0.50 per club night.

Uniforms:

An important part of Awana is to establish unity and discipline within children (and leaders). Awana uses uniforms to assist in this effort. Uniforms are also a neat place to display awards.

Uniforms are available for purchase to all clubbers (except Trek and Journey) at registration, which is included in their dues found above.

Theme Nights:

Every year we hold theme nights to encourage participation among the leaders and clubbers of our Awana Club – also because theme nights are a lot of fun!

Information will be given during registration time to ensure all clubbers and their parents are aware of current happenings. You can also check the Awana calendar here.

What is AWANA?

Awana is all about reaching out to children and youth to share the good news of Christ with them. We focus on equipping and encouraging them to grow in their faith and serve in meaningful ways. We warmly invite families to join us on this exciting journey of faith together! For more information on AWANA, click here.

Opening Ceremony

At our Awana opening ceremony, children gather with joyful hearts for a time of worship that sets the tone for the evening. They engage in uplifting songs that inspire faith and fellowship, creating a warm atmosphere of community. During this special time, the kids participate in prayer and affirm their commitment through the Awana pledges. Additionally, we encourage our children to pray for missionaries around the world, fostering a sense of global awareness and compassion. This meaningful gathering not only strengthens their spiritual growth but also builds lasting friendships among the children.

Small Group Time

The younger clubbers (PreK-5th Grade) gather in small groups with consistent leaders to build strong relationships. During this time, the children can ask questions, discuss the Bible lesson, complete their Awana workbooks, and pray together.

The youth gather in two separate groups (Middle School and High School) and have their Bible lesson time as they build relationships with one another and their leaders.

Game Time

Awana games are an exciting highlight for our kids and youth! They dive into thrilling activities in their Awana game circle, such as relay races, volleyball, team challenges, basketball, and the fast-paced fun of Gaga Ball. The energy is electric as they cheer each other on, celebrating victories and lifting each other up through defeats. These exciting experiences foster friendly competition, help build lasting friendships, and create unforgettable memories! Through play, they learn valuable lessons about teamwork and camaraderie, making Awana an essential part of their week!

Missions at AWANA

It's important to introduce our AWANA kids and youth to the exciting world of cultural engagement through missions. This introduction helps them develop a deep understanding of our global community and their special role within it. By embracing the significance of the Great Commission, these young individuals can learn the importance of sharing God's love beyond their own community. This experience not only builds empathy and respect for different backgrounds but also inspires a sense of adventure and commitment to service as they find ways to make a positive difference in both local and distant communities. Engaging with various cultures through missions teaches our children and youth essential values like compassion, teamwork, and unity in Christ, ultimately preparing them to become passionate leaders who can spread messages of hope and love in our diverse and interconnected world.

Operation christmas child

At FCC, our Awana kids and youth are bursting with excitement as they partner with Samaritan's Purse for the fabulous Operation Christmas Child program! They are diving into the joy of packing boxes filled with toys, school supplies, and essential goods, all of which are destined for children in need around the world. What makes this initiative even more special is that each box includes a heartfelt gospel message, ensuring that along with the gifts, children receive the incredible hope and love of Jesus. It's a wonderful opportunity for our young ones to make a real difference and spread joy across the globe while learning the true meaning of giving!

Foreign Missions

FCC's Awana  kids and youth have a unique opportunity to engage with mission organizations around the world, fostering connections with children from diverse cultures. Through these partnerships, our young participants not only learn about global perspectives but also develop a deeper understanding of the importance of serving others. Each year, a special project is selected that allows the kids to raise funds, channeling their creativity and compassion into making a tangible difference in the lives of others. This experience not only enriches their own lives but also instills a sense of purpose, encouraging them to be active contributors to the global community and participate in the Great Commission.

local missions

Our Awana kids and youth actively engage in serving our local community by helping with various tangible needs. Whether it's organizing food drives, collecting supplies for local shelters, or participating in neighborhood clean-up days, they play a vital role in making a positive impact. Through their efforts, they not only learn the importance of giving back but also experience the joy that comes from serving others and making a difference in people's lives. Their dedication to service reflects the love of Christ and inspires others to join in as well.

The Grand Prix is an exhilarating racing event that has delighted audiences for over 50 years! Every year, thousands of young people and their families gather for an unforgettable local race experience, where they not only enjoy thrilling competition but also hear the powerful gospel message.

But the Grand Prix is much more than just a chance to build a race car and watch it zoom down the track. It fosters a unique bond between kids and their parents as they team up to create the ultimate car. Parents and grandparents get swept up in the excitement, actively participating in the creative process alongside their children.

Best of all, everyone who attends will hear the uplifting news that God loves them and sent His Son to save them from sin. Join us for an event filled with fun, creativity, and inspiration!
